UNDER DEVELOPMENT
Analysis Tools
From individual observations to correlated technical evidence.
Kostet is developing analysis functions that sit above the individual sensing systems. Their purpose is to combine observations from spectrum monitoring, passive target sensing and localization into a common analytical view rather than treating each receiver, detector or recording as an isolated result.
Development direction
- Correlation of observations by time, frequency, signal characteristics and geography
- Signal and emitter classification with preserved confidence and supporting evidence
- Timeline and event reconstruction across multiple collectors and monitoring systems
- Geospatial analysis of observations, DF vectors, TDOA results and uncertainty regions
- Association of recordings, measurements and analyst findings with a common target or event
- Cross-system exchange between IRIS II, TraceGuard and localization services through versioned interfaces
Designed for explainable results
The goal is not only to produce an answer, but to preserve why the system reached it: contributing observations, timing, sensor geometry, signal quality, confidence and uncertainty. This is especially important in technical security and spectrum-intelligence work where an analyst must be able to inspect the evidence behind an automated conclusion.
Analysis should not destroy the evidence
Derived associations and analytical conclusions are intended to remain separate evidence objects. Source observations stay intact, so a later analyst can inspect exactly which measurements contributed to a conclusion and which part was inferred.
System-of-systems approach
IRIS II can contribute RF detections, classifications, recordings and spectrum context. TraceGuard can contribute target observations and histories. Distributed localization sensors can contribute TDOA, DF and position estimates. The analysis layer is intended to correlate these sources while keeping their original measurements and provenance intact.
